Having recently completed the soundtrack for the series Matadero (Diagonal TV) and the feature film “The “Hollow Point” (Atlas Independent), Juan Navazo works in music composition for film and television, and simultaneously develops various projects ranging from rock to experimental music. Multi-instrumentalist composer, his passion for music since childhood leads him to seek new sounds and textures and delve into different styles.

Compositor y multi-instrumentista amplió su formación en el conservatorio como pianista estudiando canto en la escuela Pentagrama además de guitarra de forma autodidacta.

Después de finalizar sus estudios en la Escuela de Artes, continuó su formación con diversos cursos como Música Digital Creativa,  Logic Pro, Pro Tools y FMOD entre otros.

Se inicia en el mundo audiovisual elaborando bandas sonoras para cortometrajes además de realizar piezas musicales para diferentes spot televisivos como para la firma Rochas componiendo la música de su campaña Momentos mágicos, momentos Rochas, co-dirigida por Jorge Torregrossa y Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo.

Más tarde comenzó su trayectoria con el director Gonzalo López-Gallego, realizando la banda sonora de la TV Movie La Piel Azul y la música del cortometraje publicitario La Revolución de los Sentidos, para Hoss Intropia, protagonizado por María Valverde.

Comienza a trabajar como compositor para la productora americana Atlas Independent, para la que realiza la banda sonora del largometraje Open Grave, de Gonzalo López-Gallego, película protagonizada por Sharlto Copley y Joseph Morgan y, más recientemente, la banda sonora del film The Hollow Point, protagonizado por Patrick Wilson, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane y James Belushi, entre otros.

Compone la banda sonora del largometraje documental El Invierno de Pablo, de Chico Pereira, para Opa Films y tiempo después la música para la serie Distopia, dirigida por Koldo Serra y protagonizada por Daniel Grao y Paco Marín.

Diagonal TV cuenta con él para la banda sonora de la serie Matadero, dirigida por Jordi Frades y protagonizada por Pepe Viyuela, Lucia Quintana, Carmen Ruiz y Tito Valverde.

En la actualidad posee su propio estudio de grabación, compone música para diversos proyectos audiovisuales, publicitarios y escénicos y se dedica a su proyecto personal.

Composer and multi-instrumentalist Juan Navazo expanded his training at the Music Conservatory as a pianist by studying singing at Pentagrama school as well as by self-studying guitar.

After completing his studies at the School of Arts, he continues his training in Digital Creative Music, Logic Pro, Pro Tools and FMOD among others.
